Best Tasting Green Drink Recipes
Green drink is not another health fad. When you choose to add this alkalizing drink to your daily diet, you will begin to see results in your body and in your health. For a moment, move past the color and think about these benefits of adding green drink to your routine:

1/2 bag of cut up Kale from Trader Joes.
1 cut up apple (seeds taken out).
1 bag of spinach. (i usually buy pre-washed organic spinach from Trader Joes in a bag and I use the entire bag).
1 banana
1/2 section of cucumber (buy large organic cucumber from Trader Joes).
A few large slices of Purple cabbage.
1 cup water
1 cup ice
1 large sheet of dried/toasted Nori seaweed (you can buy in bulk sheets from health food store). Gives good taste and sea veggies are great for health.
*Optional: You can add some unfiltered apple juice to sweeten up the taste for yourself….I do not do this.
Other options to add to the above mix: (I try to keep things simple, but you can try some of the below).
Celery
Carrot
Green beans
Broccoli
Parsley
Of course, all the above veggies should be thoroughly washed before putting into blender.
You might need to put the above veggies into two batches; to process everything together. Also might need to use a spoon to “push” everything down into blender. I usually put hard veggies and apple and water/ice at bottom to start. then add other veggies on top of it.
Blend for 30 seconds. Blend to fill one medium glass; and ENJOY!! I usually drink along with lunch and dinner.
Should make around 4 medium glasses of veggie drink. You can drink over the next two days. Keep the remaining in a “Blender Bottle”. You can buy Blender Bottle online or at Sprouts or Whole Foods Market.
